Ireland - motion calling for an end to water fluoridation rejected

The President of the Irish Medical Organisation (IMO) says "political interference" is harming doctors' ability to properly treat patients. The comments from Dr. Matthew Sadlier came on the opening day of the union AGM in Kildare this morning.

Meanwhile a motion calling for an end to water fluoridation here was overwhelmingly rejected at the conference.

That statement says it all. They cannot ever admit their foolishness. Just makes you wonder just what sort of "professional" closed minds we are dealing with here? What will it take to change those minds? What it might take to bypass these people? What? Civil disobedience campaigns?? A show of electoral force to take votes off them (I know that upsets them!)? Revolution for heaven's sakes?

Just how far are these pseudo "health workers" prepared to go to defend their dictatorial arrogance and stupidity? My guess is that they can NEVER, EVER admit how wrong, and for so long, they have been. Force of some sort (electoral hopefully) might end up being the only option when faced with crazy people in positions of power. I don't know!
