Portland voters said no to adding fluoride to the city's water supply in a bitter and divisive election this May.
Now, the two sides engaged in that fight are agreeing to play nice and marshal their respective resources to study ways to improve dental health for Portland's youth.
The City Club of Portland announced plans Wednesday for the newly created Children's Dental Health Task Force.
Despite the contentious election, there was "significant agreement" from all sides that addressing oral health was an issue, a City Club release said.

The nine-person task force will be elected through an open process. Applications will go through the City Club's website.

It's open to all comers....
