I think most of the switched on people of Hampshire are waiting with bated breath for a decision on weather the health authority will be adding fluoride (poison)to our once clean and wholesome drinking water. In the back of my mind however i'm having doubts as to the agenda that seems to be playing out here my main worrie is the blatant disregard for any new information that's easily available if your prepared to search for it. from the public side of things i find it inconceivable that fluoridation is even on the "to do list", this age old wives tale of protecting teeth by adding a toxic waste to drinking water is outdated and unwanted, when will the people who have been entrusted with our health listen instead of bulldozing over everyone, your ignorance will be your downfall and i will be taking a front seat to whiteness every second of it, i will not sit ideally by whilst a bunch of un-elected non medical over payed babbling baboons poisons me and my family.

It is illegal for a doctor or a dentist to force anyone to take a drug or a chemical.

It should be illegal for the government as well, particularly for the toxic waste fluoride (hydrofluorosilicic acid) which is more poisonous than LEAD and only slightly less poisonous than ARSENIC. That's why it is very effective in pesticides and rodentcides.
It has never been approved by the FDA in the U.S. as safe or effective.

Dental caries, also known as tooth decay or a cavity, is an infection, bacterial in origin, that causes demineralization and destruction of the hard tissues of the teeth (enamel, dentin and cementum). Cariology is the study of dental caries and remains one of the most common diseases throughout the world, if you have a disease you look for a cure, are they saying fluoride is the cure for tooth decay so wouldn't that make it a medicine.

Over 204 million Americans today enjoy the public health benefit of fluoridation.
Anonymous is quoting from the 1984 text, "Clinical Toxicology" by Gosselin. Anonymous conveniently leaves out what Gosselin's text also lies between lead and arsenic in toxicity: caffeine, the most highly consumed chemical in the world.

Think about that the next time you order your $4.00 skinny latte from Starbuck's.

The jurisdiction of any additive be it a fluoride additive or any of the 43 other additives that can be added to public water is regulated in the U.S. by the EPA, not the FDA. The FDA has NO say over public water. Their jurisdiction is bottled water, water containing products, and foods processed in water. Saying that the fluoride additive added to public water isn't FDA approved is like saying the fluoride additive isn't approved by Man-U Soccer Club.

Science is always a work in progress. A few decades ago, scientists were reportedly saying that vegetable fats were good, animal fats bad. A huge ‘healthy’ switch was instigated, only to find much later that the likes of ‘transfats’, building up in bodies over time, was far more harmful than animal fats. Better to return to good old beef dripping to cook fries in, than such vile vegetable fat that tasted worse to boot.
Fats in foods in general were demonized; more sugar was added to make up for subsequent reduction in fats. Now, it seems, sugar is seen as the worse enemy to health.
Playing fast and loose with people’s health, adding chemicals to water to combat a problem largely caused by poor diet, maybe perverse. Adding a ‘lesser’ poison, to combat a worse one - excessively sugary drinks and food’s effect on teeth - avoids the underlying, more serious problem. That tooth decay signals something seriously wrong with the kids’ diets. Excessive sugar in food and drink causes far more health problems than tooth decay. Tackle that serious cause, instead of lessening one of the symptoms.

They don't 'enjoy' it ToothTruth, they 'endure' it. What evidence do you have that it benefits health? The industrial waste chemicals used to 'fluoridate' public water supplies have never undergone any toxicological tests proving them safe for human consumption.

When I wrote to the now defunct SHA asking them why they believed drinking toxic chemicals improves public health, they were unable to answer my question. My request for a written guarantee that consuming fluoridated water would have no adverse effects on my health was summarily dismissed as 'inappropriate'.
