Top dentist backs city project aimed at reducing decay

A HULL scheme aimed at reducing tooth decay in children has been endorsed by the country's top dentist.
Dr Nigel Carter, chief executive of the British Dental Health Foundation, was at Francis Askew Primary School to see the innovative Brush Bus project, which sees pupils clean their teeth in class.

It is run by City Health Care Partnership in partnership with the 543 Dental Centre in Anlaby Road, west Hull, and Henry Schein Dental.
Since 2006, more than 7,000 children have been involved.
