I am against fluoridation. I am a tax payer who surely has a right to vote for what my council choose to put in my water.

Sugar, I thought sugar was the significant cause of tooth decay not lack of fluoride. So a starting point in helping to solve this would be to eliminate the most obvious options first. Considering foods nowadays are high in sugar (in order to help we should be looking at what we choose to buy instead.

I choose to eat low sugar foods and brush my teeth, i choose that because i, like others, want nice teeth. If people choose for themselves and choose for their children not to do this then this is not my problem. Therefore please do not poison my drinking water as i do not want extra fluoride in my body.

We are literally bottle feeding these people that CHOOSE to ignore tooth care guidelines. Everyone knows the common wisdom on whats bad for teeth. I don not want to have to pay (i pay enough in taxes already) for peoples ignorance.

If this goes ahead then i will not be drinking tap water, but bottled instead - the question is, who will be paying for this bottled water because i certainly wont be!

Bottled water is not a viable solution because it appears to contain Bisphenol-A (BPA) which you certainly do not want to have in your body, just like fluoride. Look up its alleged effects upon the body.

For this reason, there is no safe, healthy alternative to drinking tap water, unless you have a fresh water spring, which is unlikely.

Therefore the public must raise their voices now and say NO to fluoride. Prevention will be easier than trying to get it removed later.

Now go, fight fluoride, win!

Unless the public unites on this, it will go into our water and we will suffer.
