Are we so naive as to believe that the SHA Board Members are appointed on the basis described in this article? They haven't got where they are today by taking any decisions that would be unpopular with those who matter, ie the ones appointing them in the first place. Shame on them - they should have more integrity, but I guess a good steady job and a nice pension at the end of it .... it's enough to turn anyone's head!
