We have a very unsympathetic nanny state style government which seems to know very little about anything and hates science almost as much as it does its own scientific experts. Fluoride is certainly not a cheap techno fix to a dental crisis for the simple reason there is no dental crisis other than that created by the government by impoverishing dentistry. Fluoridation could be a form of genocide on the cheap however. Those who doubt my words might possibly like to study the waffle from Andy Burnham, the New Labour man who was chosen to bring us fluoride, ID cards etc. Start by listening to his embarassingly appalling performance on Any Questions on the BBC Radio Four listen again page. Then you will truly see the reason why we have such an uphill struggle in fighting fluoridation. If you feel moved to write directly to him however, make sure the words dont have more than one sylable or he will be confusde. ... Come to think of it, i can only think of two words i would like to send to him.
